Whether on paper or on stage, Leslie Haskin is a dynamic storyteller whose words are vivid, immersive, and impossible to ignore.

Her books unfold like living scenes, drawing readers so deeply into the moment that they feel less like observers and more like participants in the story itself.

Both poetic and powerful, Leslie blends lyrical reflection with gripping narrative tension. The result is a voice that feels as though Virginia Woolf’s introspective elegance meets Toni Morrison’s emotional depth, infused with the spiritual intensity and imaginative suspense of Frank Peretti.

Her storytelling paints pictures in the mind, stirring the heart while challenging the spirit. Readers often find themselves turning pages not simply to discover what happens next—but because they already feel inside the story.

“One of the Most Distinctive Literary Voices of Our Time.”

While her books are stirring, on stage, Leslie’s presence is nothing short of riveting. While her books are deeply moving, on stage Leslie Haskin is unforgettable.

A master storyteller and commanding communicator, Leslie has a rare gift for moving audiences from laughter to reflection—and from reflection to action—often within the span of a single story.

Her speaking style is equal parts heartfelt, insightful, and disarmingly honest, delivered with warmth, wisdom, and just enough humor to keep audiences leaning forward in their seats.

Whether addressing a room of executives, a packed conference hall, or an intimate gathering, Leslie has a remarkable ability to make every listener feel seen, challenged, and inspired. It's this rare blend of storyteller, strategist, and soul-stirring communicator that makes Leslie Haskin more than a speaker or an author, she's an experience.

Audiences don’t simply hear her message. They feel it. They remember it and they leave inspired because of it.

The Power of Story

"By day, my superpower lives in technology.

I’m the first to admit—my life has never followed a predictable script. It's been one surprising chapter after another. For more than two decades, I’ve worked as an executive consultant, partnering with global organizations like Adobe, Merck, Pfizer, and NEP Group on large-scale transformations. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the brightest minds in business and technology.

Outside the corporate world, many people first came to know me as a 9/11 survivor—a woman who walked out of the unthinkable and kept moving forward. In the years since, I’ve written several Christian living books, appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list, and shared space with some extraordinary writers and thinkers.

But my story didn’t begin in boardrooms or on bestseller lists.

I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, and my journey has taken me through seasons of homelessness, depression, and even a lumpectomy—before leading to global stages, magazine features, talk-show interviews, and the joy of becoming a “Nana.”

It’s living proof that life can be messy, miraculous, and deeply meaningful all at once. Through every twist and turn, God has walked with me every step of the way.

Now I’m stepping into a new chapter—fiction—and I absolutely love it. I’m taking my readers in a whole new direction—into the unseen world that hums just beneath the surface of our ordinary lives.

It’s a place where angels move with quiet authority, shadows tremble when truth breaks through, and the line between heaven and earth is thinner than we ever realized. The spiritual realm brushing up against the everyday moments we thought were just… life.

On the surface, it reads like fiction—fast, vivid, and impossible to ignore. But beneath the imagination lives something deeper: revelation wrapped inside the story. Because sometimes the most powerful way to reveal truth… is to tell a story bold enough to make you see the world differently.
