New York Times Bestselling Author.

Whether on paper or on stage, Leslie Haskin is a dynamic storyteller whose words are vivid, immersive, and impossible to ignore.

Her books unfold like living scenes, drawing readers so deeply into the moment that they feel less like observers and more like participants in the story itself.

Both poetic and powerful, Leslie blends lyrical reflection with gripping narrative tension. The result is a voice that feels as though Virginia Woolf’s introspective elegance meets Toni Morrison’s emotional depth, infused with the spiritual intensity and imaginative suspense of Frank Peretti.

Her storytelling paints pictures in the mind, stirring the heart while challenging the spirit. Readers often find themselves turning pages not simply to discover what happens next—but because they already feel inside the story.

“One of the Most Distinctive Literary Voices of Our Time.”

While her books are stirring, on stage, Leslie’s presence is nothing short of riveting. While her books are deeply moving, on stage Leslie Haskin is unforgettable.

A master storyteller and commanding communicator, Leslie has a rare gift for moving audiences from laughter to reflection—and from reflection to action—often within the span of a single story.

Her speaking style is equal parts heartfelt, insightful, and disarmingly honest, delivered with warmth, wisdom, and just enough humor to keep audiences leaning forward in their seats.

Whether addressing a room of executives, a packed conference hall, or an intimate gathering, Leslie has a remarkable ability to make every listener feel seen, challenged, and inspired. It's this rare blend of storyteller, strategist, and soul-stirring communicator that makes Leslie Haskin more than a speaker or an author, she's an experience.

Audiences don’t simply hear her message. They feel it. They remember it and they leave inspired because of it.

The Power of Story

”I met Leslie Haskin after she delivered one of the most spellbinding keynote speeches I’ve heard in my life. I organize a lot of conferences and work with a lot of speakers and I don’t give that compliment lightly. There’s no denying Leslie has an emotionally charged story to share but she doesn’t preach it from a podium – she gets down into the audience and into their hearts. She connects in a way that makes you feel like you’re sharing a cup of coffee with her instead of listening to her address hundreds. I would put my name to ANY document that testifies to the power Leslie has to transform a gathering..”

Dear Leslie, know you don’t know me, but I wanted to tell you how much your podcast meant to me. For a long time, I haven’t felt like I mattered or really belonged anywhere. I’ve spent so much of my life feeling like I was on the outside, trying to figure out what was wrong with me and why I never seemed to fit. Then I heard your podcast. When you said, “No matter what, you matter,” I felt that deeply. It wasn’t just something nice you said. I believed you. For a moment, I felt seen by someone who didn’t even know my name.

Your podcast was different. I didn’t feel like I was listening to someone tell me everything I was doing wrong or giving me a list of ways to fix myself. You made me feel like I wasn’t broken. You reminded me that I still have value, even while I’m figuring things out. I felt a little more hopeful than I had before. I know I don’t know you personally, but you made me feel like I mattered and like maybe there’s still a place for me in this world. Thank you so so much. PS. My mom wants to meet you. (lol)

Thank you for speaking the way you do. Thank you for being honest, and thank you for reminding people like me that we belong.

”It’s always been hard for me to tell my story because it’s so deeply personal. Some parts are painful, and knowing other people are listening usually makes me hold back. But Miss Leslie made me feel so comfortable that, honestly, I forgot the world was listening. It didn’t feel like an interview. It felt like it was just us talking.

She has this warm, easy way about her that makes you feel safe enough to tell the truth, even the parts you don’t usually say out loud. She listened, she cared, and she never made me feel rushed or exposed. By the end, I felt lighter and really grateful that she was the one sitting across from me. I hate that the series ended. I'm a fan!

Andrianne Adams - Wellness Coach

”Impressed is not the word. Ms. Haskin—Leslie—spoke at the Unbreakable Women’s event in our town, and I can honestly say the experience was deeply personal and transformative. She has a rare gift for making a room feel intimate, as though she is speaking directly to each person in it. Even in a full event space, it felt up close—like she was talking to me, seeing me, and giving words to things I had carried quietly for a long time. Her presence was warm, powerful, and real, and the way she shared her story and encouraged us left a lasting impact on my heart. I did not simply enjoy her message; I fell in love with her authenticity, her strength, and the way she made every woman in that room feel seen, valued, and capable of rising stronger. Leslie Haskin is not just a speaker; she is an experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any community, organization, or event looking for a voice that is honest, inspiring, and unforgettable..”

Watch What Happens Next

I’m the first to admit—my life has never followed a predictable script. It has been one unexpected chapter after another, and somehow, every turn has led me exactly where I needed to be.

For more than two decades, I’ve worked as an executive consultant, partnering with global organizations including Adobe, Merck, Pfizer, and NEP Group to lead complex, large-scale transformations. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working beside some of the brightest minds in business, technology, and leadership.

Outside the corporate world, many people first came to know me as a 9/11 survivor—a woman who walked out of the unthinkable and made the decision to keep moving forward. Since then, I’ve written several Christian living books, appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list, and shared conversations, stages, and creative spaces with extraordinary writers, leaders, and thinkers. But my story didn’t begin in boardrooms, on television, or on bestseller lists.

I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, and my journey has carried me through homelessness, depression, a lumpectomy, deep loss, and more than a few moments when life seemed determined to rewrite the plan without asking me first. And yet, here I am. My path has led to global stages, magazine features, talk-show interviews, live events, conference rooms filled with women, and one of my favorite titles of all—Nana.

My life is proof that the story can be messy, miraculous, heartbreaking, hilarious, and deeply meaningful all at once. Through every chapter, God has been present—guiding, restoring, redirecting, and reminding me that nothing is ever wasted.

Now, I’m stepping into an exciting new season. There are new stories to tell, conversations to have, stages to walk onto, women to gather, and rooms waiting to be filled with truth, laughter, courage, and a little holy disruption. From books and talk-show conversations to special appearances, live events, and conference tours, this next chapter is about creating moments that bring you front and center—moments that make you feel seen, inspired, and ready to believe in what is still possible.

The next chapter is already unfolding. And trust me—you’re going to want to be part of it.
